Star Wars Celebration and The Joy of a New Trilogy

My desk is covered in notes right now.
Awesome notes, though, about the Star Wars Celebration convention thing this weekend.
Maybe you heard about it yesterday. Since, you know, they released the second "trailer" for The Force Awakens (which I just keep calling Ep 7 because that makes the most sense to me right now) and the internet kind of went crazy (as it does).

If you haven't seen it, please do so here. Because, well, the ending is quite touching, whether you love Star Wars or not, whether you are excited for the new trilogy, or whatever your thoughts may be.

I cannot lie, I was in tears. And apparently, the rest of the internet was in tears with me, so I don't feel bad about it!

And so yesterday was the first of a four-day...thing...called Star Wars Celebration, though. I spent an hour glued to my computer for the beginning live stream, and continually through the rest of the day as they had a ton of panels and interviews and things on YouTube, on the Star Wars channel, for which I am grateful.

And yesterday, I managed to get this screengrab from the beginning panel from 10 AM.

Of course, credit goes to the Star Wars YouTube channel, but also my quick "PRT SC" button presses!

If this image means nothing to you, that's quite alright.
However, to me, it's quite fantastic. It's the original cast, guys! Harrison Ford was not able to make it to the event, but everyone else did (basically), and they are in Episode 7...

And we have to wait until DECEMBER - so far from now!

So, you can bet that I will be spending the rest of the weekend catching as much of this footage as I can. And I will let the random notes and scribbles (and screengrabs on my computer!) take up space for the next few days.
Life will go on after a few exciting days.

But while they are here, I'm going to enjoy them. And if you love Star Wars, too - go watch!

P.S. Have you been on Twitter since yesterday morning? Do you have a Twitter? Either way, search #stormtrooper, #c3p0, and #bb8 and have a giggle at the new emojis they brought out for this event. They are adorable, and I hope they stick around after this weekend!
