My Workspace
I apparently live in a state of chaos.
I have managed to get it a little better, to where I can open my planner all the way, without having to move anything around. So that's a good start.
I wish I had a shelf, that wasn't on top of the desk. Or a file cabinet. Or...something!
The clutter-filled shelf in the third image is supposed to be a craft station of sorts. The top is covered in contact paper, and was intended to be a surface to create things on. Now, it just holds stuff. Granted, its holding my lovely supplies (washi tape, stickers, pens), but it's also holding our LEGO collection, my Hobonichi for next year, D&D 5th Edition Starter Set, and my paper-cutter.
Let's not get started on the action figure party on my desk. There's Hot Wheels, LEGOs, Pokemon, Star Wars, Batman, Lord of the Rings, and some Space Marines that the husband and I painted.
I think, though, that this environment describes me best.
I like so many different things, and so many different ways of being. I'm all over the board. And that's just the way my life is. Right now, I'm binge watching Mad Men (and loving their outfits, by the way), while eating frozen pizza for breakfast. I have to go grocery shopping some time today, and remember to vacuum.
I'm missing the back of the motorcycle (the rainy season has started, and since this is Oregon, it won't stop until April, at the earliest). I want a new handbag. I need to work on my fortress in Minecraft, and make sure my jeans get washed again soon.
My desk will never be any less than this. And I'm okay with that!
What does your workspace look like? Is it a reflection of you, or what you hope to be?
