I debated doing an exact copy of the half-letter size daily pages I made...and then thought better of it.
I like the to-do list, and having a section for dinner, but I didn't need a journal section any more. Yeah, it was nice to have, but I wasn't using it as a journal, I was just keeping a few notes here and there after a while. I have a real journal to use (more on that topic in a few posts!) if I needed to write about the day, and I was doing good at keeping track of basically everything that happened each day with the to-do lists.
So, with that in mind, I present my Personal-size Day on 1 Page inserts!
I've grown quite fond of those little flowers as the check boxes - coloring them in after I finish a task is quick, but enjoyable for some reason!
There's enough room for all of the tasks I normally do, and then some! At first I wasn't sure if the lines for the tasks could be enough room for me to write on, but I have yet to have any issues.
Even on super busy days, it works out. I've had to add a few things to where they don't have check boxes (such as the "Braindump in Moleskine" and "& Christmas post" above), but as they were things I added in after-the-fact to keep track of, it is alright.
The notes section is just big enough as well. It could be smaller for some days, as most of the time I don't nearly have this much to write, but it also leaves room for stickers and washi!
I really do love these pages. My color-coding system is simple (which I will be going over next week!) and allows me to easily differentiate between tasks at a glance while reviewing past days.
The dinner section is large enough to write down my plans, and still have room to change them if need be (like in the fourth picture).
And for special days, such as Christmas Eve (third picture), the line that "To-Do" is on leaves room to state that it is a holiday - like today is the Mister's birthday, so I have "David's Birthday" written on that line.
As it stands right now, I've been writing down everything I need to do each day (that's why you see "Feedly" and "FB, Twitter, & Pinterest" on there so often. I'm still making these things habits for myself. Having to check them off every day has helped me stay on top of them, and know that they need to get done (so I can color in the flower!).
I would like to share these pages with you as well!
If you are interested in trying these out for yourself, they can be downloaded here.
The way the file is set up, each page should print so the left and right margins of the page are where the holes get punched, and you just chop around the sections with a tiny border - I normally leave a small white space between the "date" box and where I'm chopping, and then cut the rest of the page using that and the left or right margin as a size-guide to cut the rest of the page out.
These are almost lined up 100% so that when you print double-sided, they line up properly if you look through the page.
They are also intended to be printed on letter-sized paper.
If you are interested in just the insert itself, that is set up to be printed on personal-size paper, that can be found here, as I know some people use personal-size paper to print their inserts, and not letter-size!

P.S. And, of course, please do not use these printables for anything other than personal use - I do not watermark these, as I don't want to look at my name all day (and I don't think you would either!), but I would appreciate if you don't use that against me!
And of course, if you have any issues, please let me know!
Oh, how cute and thanks for sharing! I've downloaded it and will resize to fit my pocket planner so I can use it as a tip-in every once a while (when my days are busier).
ReplyDeleteHopefully it resizes to pocket size easily!! I have used LibreOffice for editing and playing with Philofaxy and MyLifeAllinOnePlace inserts quite a few times - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, ha.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! :)
Hi! I found your link where you commented on a blog post on I Heart Planners. You mentioned it was nice to see that some planners used just black and white inserts (that was my planner). I like you blog and will visit again. Since that post, I have started a blog with free printables and you are welcome to visit! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by and checking it out!! I do indeed like black and white inserts - leaves plenty of room for other emebllishments, and cuts down on printing costs by a jillion (hand me down printer? yeah, count me in, ha!).
ReplyDeleteI will head on over to your blog as well!
I would love to hear more about your journal! I don't do much journaling, but I find it really interesting and creative ha ha!
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are so cute! And I love how your printables have spacec for decorating! I've found other printables before, but they never had much room and it was always such a struggle to write all my tasks! Great job with yours! xx

ReplyDeleteJournaling is fantastic! Even just to take some time and doodle a bit, I highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind words on these pages, I'm quite fond of them, both for task management and making them pretty, ha!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Thank you so much!
