Why Things Got Weird

Things are funny sometimes. Okay, more often than sometimes, actually.
And that's okay.

A few things are happening right now, a lot of which is, well, we'll see how it goes type of things.
I'm at a point where I'm gravitating back to technology and games, and a bit farther away from cooking and laundry (though still important, not a priority - but don't worry, we still have clean clothes and food to eat!).
Which means that there's less, honestly, going on - because games take up a ton of time. Minecraft alone can take up five or six hours at a time - trust me, I was up till 2 am the other night! But also, I can spend a Friday night installing a new operating system - totally the best way to spend a Friday night, ya?

And I tried something entirely new as well. Well, two things, actually. First, more Minecraft (and ArcheAge as well, but we will see how long that lasts). Secondly, a Twitch.tv channel.
And if you're not familiar with any of these things, that's okay. Twitch.tv is a streaming site, and most people use it to play video games on. And then ArcheAge is a game, as is Minecraft. And, well, I did these things. And now they are on YouTube.
No, don't watch them, that would be weird.
But, I mean, you could.
I don't blame you if you don't.

But, that's where things are right now.
Video games and computer bits.
And this ties in a TON with my last post. Things get weird. Things get strange. And I either go along with it or I don't.
This time, I'm trying to go along with it and keep it as long as I can. Because, well, why not?

Yes, it could end up being a huge waste of time.
Yes, I could end up screwing up a lot of things for myself - for example, I obviously haven't been putting this blog first on my list of things to do, and that will probably end up biting me in the rear.
But, really, if I do go along with it and fail all around, well, that just means I know now - to never trust these weird ideas again.

For Monday, though, I do promise to share how I managed to organize the bedroom closet - it's been done for two weeks, honestly, and I'm super proud of it, just haven't posted it yet.
And I do promise to not just skip days again. That does nobody any good.

P.S. Do you Minecraft? Or Pokemon? Or, well, something?
P.P.S. Do you maybe not know my YouTube channel yet, though? Because it is here and, if you are familiar with Twitch.tv, my page can be found here.

  1. Minecraft is addictive - all the family enjoy it except for my husband, who has so far avoided playing it but can't get out of the kids showing off their worlds to him.....
Before kids we used to have pc's networked so we could play games together - we worked our way through all the Doom's, Quake, Unreal Tournament, AVP, Diablo, Age of Empires etc. Good times, we must get that set up again! Though we need our sleep a lot more these days...

    1. It is indeed addictive. But in a zen kind of way...hours pass by without realizing it, and you may not have built anything yet, but it was fun!
Sleep is, well, important, yeah, but so is good entertainment! The Mister has a server set up for Minecraft for us, and we were playing Rift with a bunch of his friends for a while, but lately it's been less gaming - until now, getting back into it. It's a good way to spend time together, while still having time on your own...if that makes sense.
Thanks so much for your continued feedback and support - it means a lot to me and I really appreciate it! :)
