Laundry?
Shopping?
Dinner?
Doctor's appointments?
Probably.
But am I the only one who plans for things I'm not going to?
Or does that sound silly. It could, so let me explain.
You see, E3 is coming up (big video game preview event!). No, there is no way I could or would ever go to E3.
But, there is plenty of stuff that I am going to want to keep up on. Through the magic that is the internet and social media, that will be possible. Heck, some of it may even be streamed on Twitch - similar to the Star Wars event in April that I was able to watch on YouTube and see everything at the same time it was happening live.
This is what I am hoping for.
So, you can bet that I looked up when E3 is this year and put it in my planner.
Especially when it's very possible that the internet will end up breaking itself from at least one panel (Half Life 3, anyone? It's possible!).

And with Fallout 4 confirmed on the 3rd of June, and a formal announcement being made on the 14th, I also have that penciled in. It's being streamed to both Twitch and YouTube, and you can bet I'm going to make sure I'm home to see it!
Currently, there is a trade show called Computex happening in Taiwan, which is full of new technology being previewed (lots of computer things!). Luckily, there are tech YouTubers that the Mister and I follow on various social media to see a lot of the things that they are seeing, and we are watching videos each day from them about what they've gotten to look at (and while it looks like it can be streamed live, we don't have the funds to fall in love with all the new stuff right now, so watching is a bad idea).
But if we were in the market for new video cards or processors, you'd bet I would have planned to watch some of that as well!
And while sure, it's alright to catch everything after it's actually happened, it's much more fun to do it live.
The amount of love that came out after the showing of the second Star Wars 7 trailer online was magical, and I am so glad I got to be a part of it. Even though I was still in pajamas, sitting at my desk (trying not to cry, ha!).

So you can bet all of your dollars that I am going to be doing the same for Fallout 4 (and who knows what else from E3!).

P.S. If you are interested in Fallout 4 in any way, the promotional website has the landing page image for download as an awesome desktop background. You can find that here (and then click the little download icon for the image - apparently it has a bunch of easter eggs in it!).
