When Things Go Wrong

When Things Go Wrong.

...they tend to go wrong in a big way.
Not this time, thankfully. Yet, anyway. But, for now, not this time - not big. Just...enough.
Sometimes, enough is, well, more than you need.

Actually, it is always more than you need.

When Things Go Wrong.

...nothing makes sense. Nothing seems worth the time.
There is no reason to do x, y, or z, and finding h, i, or j for activities is a better option - though those are never worth anything either.

When Things Go Wrong.

..."great" ideas turn into projects that turn into unfinished objects. Well, this is normal life, you see, but the energy into the great ideas always seems wasted.

When Things Go Wrong.

...there is nowhere to go. There should be, but there is no "safe place".
Mind you, I created a cavern in the living room to hang out in, but that only works for so long. It will get to the point where one feels the need to leave. And while being away from the desk is a good thing, being away from the house as a whole seems even better.

When Things Go Wrong.

...you want to turn your world upside down.
Because if you can change so many things around, something will have to fall into a good place, yes?
Starting a bunch of things over, so to speak, will ensure that something turns out, yes?

When Things Go Wrong.

...you want to unplug, and yet reach out, at the same time.
And neither are good options.

  1. No good advice, but many good thoughts... When things go bad I tend to retreat to safe spaces - make my kitchen and bedroom tidy then read an old favourite book with a warm drink and no electronic distractions often helps to lift my mood, followed by a walk. I think I might do that tomorrow rather than the plan for the day, sounds much more appealing!

    1. Oh I wish my kitchen was a safe place, ha - it houses the noodles, and macaroni and cheese is my comfort food. :)
Journaling a bit has helped - realized I had been forgoing that for far too long. I've filled up way more pages than normal, but has me feeling much better!
Thank you again and always :)
