Oh, sure, I've had bits of paper around that suggest things I want to accomplish, but never an actual list of things I want to be doing with myself.
I figure, it's time to start keeping track and making progress on my goals.
Last week, I made a list for myself, and I've looked at it almost every day since. And each item on that list still seems important, and still seems worth fighting for.
I just wrote everything down as I thought of it. No organization, no priorities, just things I wanted to be doing with my life.
But in order to be able to start actually working on them, I need them organized. I need steps to take along the way.

The only way to make progress on your goals, is to realize what they are and take steps to move forward.
This is the part I've never done before.
But, as it stands, I'm already working on some.
- Get Motorcycle Endorsement - I'm going out more often with my Mister on his bike, and having him explain how shifting works (I've never successfully driven a manual before).
- Have a Clean House - Following my cleaning schedule, and so far, my surroundings are improving every day!
- Cook at least 3 days a Week - Today was grocery shopping day, and the only thing I bought that can be eaten right away is frozen burritos (which means I will have to cook).
- De-clutter and Purge - I've been adding to my take-to-Goodwill pile and taking stock of what I'm using and not using to be able to get more out of the house.
- Organize and Use Planner - It hangs out on my desk, and goes with me when I leave. I refer it to multiple times a day, and have been adding more and more information to it.
- Finish the Book of Mormon - Part of my daily routine is reading at least one chapter every day.
- Keep Up on Blog Schedule - I've been planning my posts, and have all of next week already figured out.
It creates too stressful of an environment - too much to live up to. I'm not good with high expectations, and I tend to shy away from pressure when possible. But just having this list and knowing what I need to be doing is pushing me forward in the right directions.
Nothing will magically get done, and I'm okay with that. I'm just disappointed its taken me so long to get to this point!
Do you keep a goal list? How do you organize it?
